escaped characters in the URL

What is the cause of these escaped characters in the URL? The directory name is DRPD-Watch- s. here https://realtime.fyi/cloud/lessi . Hubzilla generates this https://realtime.fyi/cloud/lessi/DRPDV-%C2%ADWatch/ from it. How can I make sure that no escaped characters are inserted in the URL? Is it desired behavior that Hubzilla creates these escaped characters?

Those are urlencoded characters which would otherwise break the url.
